1527 Hibiscus Jubilee
I got this hibiscus from my neighbor, I had fallen in love with her plant. This is as far as they open, I love how they look. Malvaviscus arboreus is the scientific name they are also called sleeping hibiscus or turkscaps. We have some other kinds of sleeping hibiscus in our yard that are longer. The photo of my painting has some glare on the lower right, for some reason I had some trouble taking the picture. The painting is 8 x 10, oil on masonite.
