1803 SOLD What's Around the bend? Miniature Oil Painting

SOLD  I started this at George E LeStrange Preserve the last time we were there. It started raining and thundering and lightening so I couldn't finish it. Tweaked it at home so it is part plein air and part studio painting. That is one of my fellow artists.
5 x 7 inches, oil on masonite. Lots of textures, it is part palette knife and part brush.

1711 Egrets in the Savannas, plein air

This was painted out at the Savannas Recreational Area on Midway Road back in March of this year, if you look back through the paintings you can see another one I did about a week before this one.  I had planned to tweak it a bit but forgot about it and just now got around to finishing it.  I remember it was really nice weather, not too hot or anything, now its in the high 90's!

Its 8 x 10 inches, Oil on masonite.  Lots of nice textures.
