This started out as a plein air I painted at Heathcote Botanical Gardens here in Fort Pierce. I don't think I ever posted it, I just wasn't happy with the painting. I came across it today and thought it could do with a bird and some flowers so I scraped off some paint and put them in with the little pond.I like the painting a lot better now. Its 5 x 7, oil, lots of texture from the painting knife.
