1770 Pair of Hibiscus
I had some leftover paint from a previous painting, didn't want to waste it so used it up on this one, plus a bit more paint! :o)

1744 The Corner Garden, Plein Air, Alla Prima
I painted this at my friend Julie's house today, lovely out, high 60's. I was in the sun, started out with a jacket and flannel shirt and ended up with a T-shirt. Very breezy out. The painting is 8 x 10 inches, oil on masonite. Lots of nice textures. The pots in the back have tomatoes, the orange flowers are hibiscus, yellow ones are beach daisies.

I started this as a plein air a couple of months ago, just did a block in and it was time to leave. So I finished it yesterday in the studio.

1506 View from Under the Bridge
I did this one quite awhile ago, its 11 x 14, oil on masonite. It was a plein air, and I pretty much painted what I saw. The water was brown and there weren't very many plants around. It was just the buildings mostly. So I tweaked it a lot. I like it much better now.
