1815 SOLD Fishing at Jay Cee Park Plein Air Alla Prima

I did this at Jay Cee park Thursday, top one is the whole painting, bottom is a close-up. I may make a larger painting of the bottom, I think it would make a nice one. The painting is 12 x 9 inches, oil on a canvas panel. I had a good time painting and visiting with everyone even though it was super hot. It was only 93 degrees but 100 percent humidity. 1794 Morning at JayCee Park, Plein Air

I painted this at JayCee park Thursday, it was nice out, started out a bit chilly but it got perfect real fast. Its 8 x 10 inches oil on Masonite. I tweaked it a little bit at home, I had some hanging palm fronds in the palm tree that just looked weird and I added the sea gulls. They were there and were hoping for hand outs. The little blue heron was there as well, he was pretty tame.

1706 SOLD A Good Wind Sailboat Oil Painting

SOLD I painted this awhile ago, just getting around to posting it now. I took a nice photo of a sailboat out by the jetty, worked from that and my imagination. Mostly painted with the palette knife with a few details added with a tiny brush, the skipper and sea gulls mainly.

The painting is oil on masonite, 12 x 16 inches.
