SOLD Its oil on masonite, 4 x 6 inches. I started out painting the picture as a calm day but I thought it didn't look interesting enough to me so I added some breeze to the painting.

Daily Painting 1276 Flock of Spoonbills
I have always liked spoonbills and I felt like painting them. These are on the North Fork of the Saint Lucie river, I haven't seen them very often there so I was thrilled to get to see them this time. This is a memory painting of a scene I remember from my childhood. I spent many happy hours boating with my dad on the North Fork. Its changed so much since then.
