1773 Hot Day by the River Plein Air Alla Prima

Forgot to put this one up, its a plein air from the last paint out.  Its 5 x 7, oil on masonite in the new technique I have been playing with.  This was done at the Old Ft. park in Fort Pierce on the Indian River.  Top photo is the entire painting, bottom is a close up so you can see the details. 1666 Water Lilies Bloom Plein Air Alla Prima White City Park

Painted this today at White City park, I had a bad night and didn't want to go, wanted to sleep in.  I was glad I did, it was nice out and I had a good time.  It started out gray and drizzly and then the sun came out, it was beautiful.  Painting is 8 x 10 inches, oil on masonite. Lots of nice juicy textures.
