1787 June-Ann's Palm Trees Plein Air alla Prima

"June-Ann's Palm Trees" I painted this yesterday in June-Ann's lovely yard with my painting group, The Plein Air Painters of the Treasure Coast. We had a super time, June-Ann took me on a tour of her home and I got to see her wonderful collection of paintings. She served us iced tea and cookies they were an unexpected treat. I had fun on the way over to her house, there are lots of peacocks wandering around the neighborhood, we could hear them calling while we were painting.

Its 8 x 10 inches, oil on masonite.

1786 Breezy Day at Becker Preserve plein air alla prima

Did this out at Becker Preserve today, very nice out. Lovely breeze so it wasn't too hot. i always wanted to paint the palm that is almost laying down so did it today. Its 8 x 10 inches, oil on masonite.

1785 Going Through the Cut

Finally posting this, its a little 5 x 7 inch oil painting I did out at JayCee park a few weeks ago. It was the second painting of the day, very loose, but I thought it needed a little something so I added the sailboat and birds.

1784 Tropical Hideaway

I started this on location a couple of days ago at Becker Preserve, finished it today at home. Its bigger than my usual paintings so I wasn't able to finish on site. Its 12 x 16 inches, oil on canvas. $400.00 The painting is oil on masonite, 12 x 16 inches.
