This oak is in the old Fort park in Fort Pierce. I loved how it looked like a giant bonsai tree. I think it was naturally pruned by a number of hurricanes over the years but it is still strong. The painting is 8 x 10 inches on masonite, painted from life.

Daily Painting 1220 The Old Oak Plein Air Alla Prima
This oak is in the old Fort park in Fort Pierce. I loved how it looked like a giant bonsai tree. I think it was naturally pruned by a number of hurricanes over the years but it is still strong. The painting is 8 x 10 inches on masonite, painted from life.
