Daily Painting 602 Palms in the Pink Plein Air
Palms and Oleanders at Pepper Park here in Fort Pierce. There are some beach daisies growing in the grass too. Its 12 x 8, oil painting knife painted.

Daily Painting 601 Round Island Park, Plein Air, Alla Prima
We had an interesting time at Round Island today, after I painted this painting, artist Glenn Brill gave an interesting presentation on Gamblin paints and mediums. The painting has Gamblin radiant blue in the sky and cobalt teal in the ocean. The painting is 8 x 10, oil, painting knife painted with lots of texture.

I got to another milestone, whew! I didn't quite finish, we had a nice Memorial Day picnic with relatives over. I am wore out, it was a lovely day. I have quite a bit of tweaking to do, its coming along pretty well. Not for sale. Its 8 x 10, oil.

Daily Painting 598 All Together at the Savannas
I was tempted to call this one "I've got the blues!" I dropped some blue paint on the floor, didn't know that I had. The phone rang and I answered it and paced about while I was talking. I looked down and there all over the house was a trail of dark blue spots.

Daily Painting 590 Sandhill Cranes
I took a photo of these on the way home last week. The one in the back is a young one, almost full grown. He doesn't have the red on the top of his head yet. He appeared to be standing guard while his parent was eating. There is a detail below. Its 8 x 10 oil.

This is a painting I started a few days ago, I finally decided how I wanted to finish it. Its oil, 24 x 36. Its not done yet, I want to do some more work on the palm fronds, the plants under them, and some of the beach. I need to straighten out the horizon line too. Not for sale at this point.

Daily Painting 581 Indian River Drive Work in Progress
This is an 18 x 24 inch panel. I had to make the photo darker so it would show, its really a light pink. For some reason the camera didn't want to take a good picture. I am working from a photo, where there are smudged spots is where I wanted to change things. I am going to make the road curve more for instance. Below is the photo I will work from.
