Plein air, 8 x 10 knife, a little bit of brush work and colour shaper work. This is a tree that grows in my next door neighbor's yard, I think its a tabulia. (sp?) Late afternoon the sun shines through it's seeds turning them a golden orange color. There are also the white-topped grasses in the background, they glow in the late light too.
