1819 Going Nowhere Fast

Finally posting a fairly new one, this was from Thursday before last, did mostly on site, tweaked some at home. It was a super day, had lots of fun, talked with everyone, an airboat captain came by, his customers had decided to do something else so he came over and visited with us. He had some nice stories.

Jackie Schindehette visited, she was one of Beanie Bakus's students too. The Beanie Backus Museumand Gallery had a bunch of his old paints, never opened and she got them. He bought them by the case, she got a whole lot of different browns. She gave us all some, and I used a couple in this painting. It was lots of fun using them, they are still nice and juicy and dried fine.

It has been kind of busy lately in my non- art life. I haven't had much time to tweak paintings or post them. "Going No Where Fast!" It is at White City park, oil on canvas, 16 x 20 inches. $400. message me if interested.
