I had a great time painting with my friends today, it was beautiful out
at the Jetty park. The fisherman was there, he left shortly after I started painting. I hope I didn't make him nervous!
He was the last thing to be painted so I had to do him from memory. I am thinking he wasn't catching much anyhow there was a zillion little fish swimming next to the rocks, huge schools of them. So whatever he had for bait probably wasn't as nice eating as them. Every now and then some big fish would chase the little ones and there would be big splashes and commotion. They were all gone by 12:30, about when I left too.
The painting is 8 x 10 inches, oil on masonite.
Florida Plein Air oil paintings, stormy landscapes, hurricanes, travel.
