Sold! I painted this last week, finally got around to posting it, its been busy! It started out looking pretty gray out but the clouds started blowing away as the morning went on. There was a little blue heron there so I put him in, he was very tame, not afraid of us at all.
I painted it down by the river in front of the Old Fort Park. There is a house on the point of land in the distance but I left it out, this is the way it was down there when I was growing up. Its 8 x 10 inches, oil on masonite. $200.
Florida Plein Air oil paintings, stormy landscapes, hurricanes, travel.

Both sky and water are just so very beautiful, Lori. Really creates a mood and I must say I am envious of whomever owns a house on that spit of land.
Thanks Sherry, I am not envious, it floods in a bad hurricane. It would be nice to stay there in normal weather.
