1475 Out in the Savannas Plein Air Alla Prima
I painted this today, perfect out, in the high 60's (F) It was calm when I got there and then it got real breezy after I was painting for awhile. Lots of birds, I saw one of these egrets and some ibis and other birds. The painting is oil on masonite, 8 x 10 inches.

I had to scroll between this piece and the one before. Both are beautiful and I can see the differences; the second has more of what I would expect with winter colors down in your neck of the woods. No matter though; all of your work is beautiful!
Thanks so much! You have a good eye. The colors are wonderful right now, it thinks it is spring, lots of new leaves and flowers. But some of the trees still have their old leaves hanging on too, I was looking at an old hickory tree, it has both, the old leaves golden and the new fresh green, its gorgeous.
