I went to the Savannas Recreational area today to paint and walked around and we saw this. The hawk flapped his wings and jumped up and the squirrel got away. I don't think the hawk was very hungry!

What an amazing photograph, Lori! You were in the right spot at the right time, for sure. I've begun to think that the hawk may be a totem for me. I see them constantly, almost daily and often more than once in a day. So glad Mr. Squirrel got away.
