This was one of those fun ones to do, it just flowed. I splurged on some new paint; manganese blue and I like it, I am going to be using it a lot from now on. Its oil on masonite, 5 x 7 inches.

Oh, I love the color! :) Abstract expressionism may not be the right stylistic category, but the painting works anyway. :)

Abstract expressionism does not seem to have a concrete definition, from examples I have seen some are totally abstract and others hint at a realistic subject portrayed in a non-realistic way.
