Daily Painting 1371 Royal Terns at Pepper Park
The painting is 5 x 7 inches, oil on masonite. This was painted from a photo my son took. I had a time identifying the terns, thought they were gulls at first and finally found some good information on them. These have the winter plumage, they look different at other times of the year so that made it harder for me to tell what they were.

That sea just draws me in, makes me hear the crashing waves, the crying of the gulls, or terns as they may be... Truly beautiful, Lori, and the color of the ocean is magnificent and so spot on!
Thank you so much!
