It was hard for me to get painting today, I wasn't feeling too inspired. I cut up an old T-shirt for paint rags and looked through my sketch book. I had a sketch that was sort of like this scene and started painting it. It was hard to stop once I got started. There is some glare on the right, I got busy and couldn't get a photo till tonight.
The painting is 8 x 10 inches, oil on masonite,
Florida Plein Air oil paintings, stormy landscapes, hurricanes, travel.

So beautiful, Lori! That water in the front part of the painting is just so phenomenal; I want to wade in!
