Its oil plein air, alla prima. I painted it at the park today, really pretty out. The big white egret was in the bottle brush tree for most of the painting. Little birds were singing in the oak tree that I was sitting under and pooping on my palette. ( I had the painting tipped a bit so it was safe.) Its 8 x 10 inches,

I know exactly how you feel, I was finishing an exam paper in the park one day a few years ago, my writing is normally rough so had just finished writing it perfectly so I could send it in. Took me ages, just got to the last word, and yep you guessed it, big blob right in the middle. Beautiful painting as they all are.
