Its sort of a plein air, I wasn't outside but this is the view of my overgrown garden from the studio window. We had some rains last week and everything got growing. It was 100 degrees today so I don't know how much longer its going to be this lush looking unless we get more rain.
Its oil, 5 x 7 I mostly used a painting knife so it has lots of texture.
Florida Plein Air oil paintings, stormy landscapes, hurricanes, travel.

Sounds like what I do in the winter when it's too cold to be out - I stay inside & paint what's outside the window! Hey, if it's good enough for Kevin Macpherson, it should work for us, too!! :-)
Happy painting & stay cool in this wicked heat, Roxanne
Thanks much Roxanne!
