Daily Painting 660 SOLD Bouganvillas Gone Wild re-visited

SOLD
This is an old homesite out in the woods, the bouganvilla got huge. Nothing is left of the house, just a few bricks and some old glass are laying around. I reworked Daily Painting 419, I thought the flowers needed to be brightened up and also the plants needed some trunks. Its 4 x 6, oil, palette knife painted.

Daily Painting 653 Egrets in the Savannas

Its 5 x 7 oil, I was really tired today, went to the open studio and found I had forgotten most of my paints. The big tubes of white, blue, green. I had my fancy paints, radient blue, green gold, some nice oranges, etc. These are all in small tubes, expensive paints. I use them for spots of color, don't usually paint the whole painting with them. One of my friends lent me some white and I came up with this painting.

Daily Painting 650 Blowing Rocks

I won one of the blue ribbons at the Treasure Coast Art Association! Fellow Daily Painter Fawn McNeil won the other one. I did this painting awhile ago but I wanted to show it here since it won a prize. Its from Blowing Rocks park in Jupiter, Florida. During storms the water will shoot out of the rocks like geysers. The painting is oil, 3 x 4 feet.

Daily Painting 644 Painting Leaves at Heathcote Botanical Gardens

Not really a painting, but I was painting! This is the gate to Heathcote Botanical Gardens here in Fort Pierce. They wanted the plain green leaves to look more like monstera leaves with the holes in them and all so I painted them up for them. It was a fun little project. Not for sale.
