Painting at the Backus Museum

They asked me to come paint today at the museum, I brought some panels and frames, frames were to the right of me out of the picture, I had done two other paintings they are in the top corner. This lady comes up and asks me what my "craft" is. I told her I paint. She said she thought I was a framer. Now I had the paint on my knife, etc. etc. ??

Lower photo is the show from last night, its going to be up all month. One sale so far! :o)

Love the lilies below, Lori. They look rather delicate, don't they? And yet they are so hearty sounding! Congratulations on working at the Backus event and for your sale. I think I'd have been a bit hurt by that lady's comment. Sheesh! Here you are painting and she says that?

I was a bit aggravated, LOL! Now I just think it was funny. It was just so weird.

The lilies are very tough, they grow in horrible conditions, come right through the grass in the lawn. They sleep through the droughts and then bloom when it rains.
