I am still working on it, added a hibiscus bush and some other details, the opposite shore of the river. I am thinking about how I want to do the water, keep it smooth or add waves, etc.

Daily Painting 850 Work in Progress
Its taking shape, the mistake is the sun on the clouds is different from the shadows cast on the palms. I will change the light on the clouds so it is in the correct direction.

I am have started the palms on the top picture and working some more below still roughing in. I have noticed a major error in the painting, I think I will be able to fix it. I'll tell you about it tomorrow.

Daily Painting 848 Work In Progress
Its got a long way to go, its 24 x 36 inches. This shows how I do a studio painting, I first do a drawing. The clouds are sketched in chalk and thats a piece of tape where the waterline will be. The dark area in the middle is a shadow from the bottom of my easel. Below I have the sky pretty well finished and I am starting the beach and water.
