Daily Painting 665 Rain Lilies Florida Native Plants

I tweaked this one a bit, its one I did awhile ago.
Rain Lilies or
zephyranthes. Zephyranthes means “flower of the south wind” the definition of zephyr means "mild wind" and zephuros in ancient Greek means “west wind.” Another name is fairy lilies. They are a very nice little plant, they bloom right after it rains and in my yard need little care. These plants can be planted in Florida as low ground covers, they make fine borders and need no care. The painting is 5 x 7 inches, oil
