Daily painting 7 Golden Bromeliads

This is a 7 x 5 inch painting, all knife, plein air. I painted it in my yard. It was close to sunset and the sandflies were swarming! These are very cool bromeliads, they grow about 7 feet tall at the tip of the flower spike. We have them all over now, started from one baby.

I am looking for a purple leafed bromeliad, I have seen a few in town. They get real big too. If any one has an offshoot they would like to trade for a 5 x 7 painting, I would love to trade with you. Sold
