1769 Summer Sailing

I started this painting yesterday, its from a photo I took out at the causeway park here in Ft. Pierce. Its a good sized one, 12 x 16 inches, oil on masonite.

I had a start on this one, the background was in from some leftover paint from another painting, I just added the details.

We seem to be getting a new cat who is half wild, he is getting more and more friendly. He came up for petting for the first time a few days ago, he has been around for a few weeks. The painting is 5 x 7 inches, oil on masonite.

Painted this today at the Veteran's Memorial park, its 8 x 10 inches, oil on masonite. The tree is a Queen Crepe Myrtle.
It was getting hot today but still nice in the shade with a breeze off the river.

1764 Sunny Day at JayCee Park, Plein Air, Alla Prima

I painted this today at JayCee park here in Fort Pierce today, lovely out, nice breeze, not too hot at all! It was starting to get warm when we left but it was fine the rest of the time. The painting is 8 x 10 inches, oil on masonite.
