I did this one a few weeks ago with my plein air group. I needed a stretch and thought I would go talk to some of my friends. When I came back the easel had blown over and the painting was sprinkled with sand and dirt. So I had to stop there, took it home and waited for it to dry so I could get the dirt off. Tweaked a few spots and here it is.

1682 Gumbo Limbo Bay
I did this one just for fun, when I have leftover paint I spread it out on a blank panel. I put it aside and then pick it up when its dry and see what I see in it. I could see the tree and then the background ones.
I like gumbo limbos, they are also called tourist trees. They have thin bark that turns red and peels.
Its 5 x 7 inches oil on masonite.
