1549 SOLD Windy Palms Plein Air Alla Prima

SOLD I painted this one last week, at the Souvenirs of Downtown paintout.  Mainstreet of Fort Pierce puts it on and gives us artists a wonderful time.  This one sold at one of the receptions they put on.  Its 11 x 14 inches.  It started raining when I was just finishing, was very windy.  I loved painting it, the wind and rain was nice and cool.

Another one I did at Round Island, the two smaller palms are cabbage or sabal palms and the larger one is a Washingtonian palm.

The painting is 5 x 7 inches, oil on masonite. $100.

Nice day at Round Island today, saw some manatees, I see them almost every time I go there. 

I think the sea grapes are confused, they have both the new spring leaves and gorgeous old bright bright red ones.

1546 Orchids in the Breeze

 I can't believe its been this long since I posted.  Its been busy around here.  Lots of out of town company for one thing.  The painting is 11 x 14 inches, oil on masonite.  I put in a close up below so you can see the textures.  Most is done with painting knives.
