Daily Painting 394 Up the Creek at Adam's Ranch

This is another one I decided to tweak a bit. Its had a rough life, got blown into the sand when it was still wet. It started out as a plein air, but I changed so much I don't think I can call it that any more. The whole sky was re-painted and the background trees and bushes. I have some glare on it I'll try for a better photo tomorrow. Its 11 x 14 oil, $300.

Daily Painting 391 Windy Day at the Inlet

I had some "help" today, on the lower picture, which is cropped out of the painting above, if you look closely you can see some little tracks. I think that its some sort of gecko who ran across my wet paint. I have fixed the painting, its 12 x 16, oil, all palette knife. You may notice its similar in composition to Daily Painting 390, I am preparing for my painting demonstration on Nov. 1st at the Vero Beach Art Museum. I am doing a few of these similar paintings so I can paint the demo painting easily and quickly.

One of my paintings is at the Backus Gallery four county show. The show will run through till November 24th. The gallery is at 500 North Indian River Drive in Fort Pierce, Fl.

Daily Painting 387 Sunshine Flowers Plein Air Alla Prima

I did these today with the Plein Air Painters of the Treasure Coast, at the Village Shops of Vero Beach, we had a great turnout. Very hot today with no-see-ums. My bug spray worked luckily!

The flower shop is called Flowers for You, Inc. They told me the second Sunday of November they are going to be putting out lots more flowers and have a celebration of the season with refreshments.
