Daily Painting 887 Grant's Grocery

Here is Grant's Grocery and Deli, its in the town of Grant. Its down the road a bit from the Grant Antique Mall where I have some of my paintings. When I was growing up there were a lot of places like this, you could go in and get some snacks to take along before you went fishing.

This one is the other one I have been eying. It reminds me of a little store back home, Green's Corner. They had a little bit of everything, and seemed to cater to us kids. There was one of those old timey gas pumps out front, and benches all around under a porch. They lived in the upstairs, and always had decorations for what ever season may be at hand.

You just don't find those places any longer.

Well this one is still there, there is one closer to us too but its turned into an antique store. It still looks interesting though, I may paint it again, already did once.
