I am having fun painting these cranes, its 6 x 8, oil,
My Plein Air and other paintings, Florida Art, travel, oils, stormy landscapes, hurricanes.
I took a photo of these on the way home last week. The one in the back is a young one, almost full grown. He doesn't have the red on the top of his head yet. He appeared to be standing guard while his parent was eating. There is a detail below. Its 8 x 10 oil.

Its getting close to finished now, I still need to work on the horizon and I want to put some birds in and the ribs of the palms. Not for sale at this time.
This is a painting I started a few days ago, I finally decided how I wanted to finish it. Its oil, 24 x 36. Its not done yet, I want to do some more work on the palm fronds, the plants under them, and some of the beach. I need to straighten out the horizon line too. Not for sale at this point.
SOLD Commissioned painting 8 x 10 oil. Its a bit blurry I didn't have my camera with me so I had to use my cell phone.
I have started another large painting, 24 x 36 inches not sure yet where I am going with it. Its not for sale at this point.
Its finished now, 18 x 24, oil. I added the background trees, hibiscus and other flowers. I took the road back in time to the old sandy trail it used to be.
Its almost finished, I want to put a few more details in, some hibiscus and other flowers and some more trees behind the other trees. Not for sale at this time.
This is an 18 x 24 inch panel. I had to make the photo darker so it would show, its really a light pink. For some reason the camera didn't want to take a good picture. I am working from a photo, where there are smudged spots is where I wanted to change things. I am going to make the road curve more for instance. Below is the photo I will work from. Its not for sale at this time.

I painted this today at White City Park, I had lots of furry company, the squirrels were wondering what I was doing and came very close, probably hoping I was eating and would share. Its 8 x 10, oil,

I took a photo of these Washingtonian Palms in St. Lucie Village on Chamberlin Boulevard. I took some artistic license and left out the houses. Its 5 x 7 oil,
Its 8 x 10, oil. It started out as a plein air painting on North Indian River Drive but it started to rain so I finished it at home.
Its 8 x 10 oil, I took some artistic license with the foreground as I was standing behind a wall and couldn't see it.
Its 8 x 10, oil, SOLD I painted this at Julie's today, it was very cloudy out and I took the photo inside, should have listened to Julie, she thought the photo wouldn't turn out good, she was right!

SOLD Its 6 x 8 oil. We had a three day paintout in town. This was the last one I did, I did seven paintings in the three days. It sold in the last five minutes of the reception, everyone was getting their paintings to take home. I almost didn't paint it, I was tired, figured I had enough paintings finished.
SOLD Its 8 x 10, oil, plein air, alla prima. The owner of the home bought it hot off the easel. It was a perfect day to paint, lovely breeze off the river not too hot or cold.
Its 6 x 8, oil, all painting knife painted. I was going to paint some orchids using the silvery blue palmettos as a background. I painted the palmettos and I liked how they looked so I didn't want to change things.
