1501 Bend in the St. Lucie River

This is from the North Fork of the St. Lucie River.  There is usually a gator under those trees to the right.  Most people can't see them, they look like an old log or tire.  I'll let the viewer decide if I put one in or not.   Lots of nice texture in this painting.  The painting is 8 x 10 oil on masonite.

What a serene scene! For some reason (maybe it was talk of gators), I feel I could be looking a bit into the Louisiana swamps too.
