Daily Painting 1429 Shallow Reflections

This is another painting I came back to, I added the bird.  Its of Bear Point a nice park on Hutchinson Island in Fort Pierce.  There is a super fishing dock and a tall viewing platform where you can look for birds from.  The painting is oil on masonite, 5 x 7 inches,

Absolutely one of my favorites, Lori. I love how the green surrounds the water almost completely and where it does not, there is the egret. Gorgeous palette!

This one seems to have a deeper darker water than your other paintings. Have you gone to paint at this place not too often?

It would be cool to see your paintings when you're off on vacation somewhere else too! :)

Hi Fatima,

I have been here a lot, it is right across the river from us. I think it looks darker because the weather is very dark right now, clouds from tropical storm Debby are making it very gray out. No wind now, just lots of clouds and rain.
