Daily Painting 1385 SOLD Big Seascape Painting With Fisherman and Great Blue Heron

SOLD This is what I have been working on lately for days! It was a commissioned painting, 40 x 60 inches, oil on gallery wrapped canvas. The fisherman is 5 inches tall to give an idea of scale. I enjoyed painting it, it was nice to do something so big for a change, nice to get it finished too! Below are the great blue heron and fisherman.

The client saw one of my smaller paintings, Daily Painting # 1367, "A Calming View" and wanted to know if I could make a big one for her with the birds and her husband fishing. So here it is.

Beautiful job, Lori! I love how his left foot is slightly raised, as if he is working hard at that fishing. Love the depth in the tree with flowers too.

Thanks much, those aren't flowers in the tree, they are huge dinner plate sized leaves, its a sea grape tree. They turn red, orange and yellow with the seasons.
