Daily Painting 1366 Windswept Skies Pepper Park view

I did this one at the open studio at Art Mundo last night, it was lots of fun painting with everyone. I worked from a photo I took from one of the boardwalks at Pepper Park on Tuesday. I loved all the colors, the seagrapes look so pretty now. The paint is nice and thick on this one, I enjoyed piling it on. The painting is 5 x 7 inches, oil on masonite. $100.

Another beauty, Lori! I have noticed out here in IL that the field grasses have just that gorgeous pale blondish color that you've captured so beautifully in this piece. It is such a natural color and you've mastered it. I wish I could describe it better!

Thanks so much! I mixed the colors in the grass, but I have a tube of something that is close to it which now is driving me crazy trying to remember the name, LOL!
