Daily Painting 1038 House of Refuge Commission WIP

These are works in progress, I have a commission to do two of these paintings, each 18 x 24 inches of the House of Refuge in Stuart. They are going to go to two members of a family and they want them painted as close as possible alike. The client wants them like the 8 x 10 House of Refuge I did awhile back. (Daily Painting 1000) So I am painting them at the same time. I have about 8 hours in the paintings so far.

Daily Painting 1037 SOLD Fort Pierce Inlet State Park Plein Air Alla Prima

SOLD I painted this on site at the Ft. Pierce Inlet State Park. It was beautiful out not too cold or hot. I left out the buildings on the other side of the inlet. Reds, oranges, many of the leaves look like a work of art in themselves. The painting is 12 x 16 inches, oil with lots of nice texture on masonite.
