They look kinda like wild carnations. Don't know what they're called. Very nice texture.
Thanks BJ they have cool puffy seeds like dandelions. You can blow on them and they are like tiny parachutes.
Lucky you - my garden is all ice. Lovely painting - no wonder it got red dotted so quickly.
