daily painting 248 SOLD Sandy Road Old time Florida

SOLD Its 5 x 7 oil, mostly painting knife. When I was growing up there used to be a lot of sandy roads down here, I always thought they looked nicer than the asphalt roads. It was easy to get stuck though and there were usually boards by the bad spots that you could put under the car tires and get yourself unstuck. Not a pleasant job in the Florida sunshine and heat.

This is one of those yummy paintings. When I click on it to enlarge it, I can see all the thick frosting like strokes of the knife. mmmmmm . . .

1851 Jetty Morning

  Did this awhile ago at the Jetty park here in Fort Pierce.  The painting is 12 x 16 inches, oil on canvas panel. It will be at our art sho...
