Daily Painting 77 SOLD Phragmites at Indrio Savannas

SOLDWe went all around the little lake here today, a bit of a mistake, there is a very jungley part on the opposite side of from the painting. We figured it would be shorter to slog through instead of going back around. About a half mile of very thick brush to go through. We were almost through and I disturbed some yellow jacket wasps, OUCH! Three of them got me and the bites still hurt. Better than it was at first, and while I was painting I didn't even think about them.

The painting is 5 x 7, oil, all knife, studio from one of my photos today. Remembering Mike Pacitti.

The photo is me and my dog Whisker, he is smelling something of great interest.

Daily Painting 74 SOLDCandlebush and T-day rescues

SOLDThere is my painting, its 5 x 7 oil, all knife from a photo I took awhile back. I can hardly believe I actually did a painting today after all the cleaning, cooking and more cleaning. My son caught the gecko in the house, very skinny, I guess I don't have too many bugs in here for him to eat. The gecko not my son! The bird is a skimmer with a broken wing, my son saved him too, we called animal control and they came and got it, said they will take it to a lady who fixes up all the hurt wild animals in town. I am totally wore out!

Daily Painting 60 Golden Tree

Plein air, 8 x 10 knife, a little bit of brush work and colour shaper work. This is a tree that grows in my next door neighbor's yard, I think its a tabulia. (sp?) Late afternoon the sun shines through it's seeds turning them a golden orange color. There are also the white-topped grasses in the background, they glow in the late light too.
