Lucky Leaves

Plein air from my back yard, its 8 x 10 oil all knife. Lucky leaves are a cool plant with flower buds filled with air. You can pop them between your fingers, lots of fun for children. The scientific name is kalanchoe pinnata.

Lovely backyard for plein air, and a beautiful painting created too! Glad to see you are still hard at it. Hope you are selling lots!

Could you tell me where I could see your work in person. Will be in Florida next week but not in Vero Beach area. I will be in Jacksonville, Clearwater, the Keys and Miami over 10 days. Maybe there is a gift shop or gallery that shows your work in one of those areas? What do your plein air paintings sell? Sorry if I mispelled that.

Thanks so much Maggie, I have to get into another gallery, the one I was in was destroyed by hurricanes Frances and Jeanne. They called me the day before the hurricane came to get my paintings out. I did even though we were running around like crazy people getting ready for the storm, boarding up our house and other relatives. You can see my work for sale on ebay, put LoriM in ebay's search. It looks much better in person, the computer screen can't show the texture and colors as well. I have various prices on my paintings, based on size, and length of time it took to paint.
